The Ancient Bai Dinh Pagoda Complex
With a history of more than 1,000 years, the ancient Bai Dinh Pagoda holds deep historical and cultural significance. It was chosen by Zen Master Nguyen Minh Khong as a place to cast Buddha statues and later became a center of Buddhist practice. It is also where Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang set up an altar to pray for victory and peace before unifying the country during the war of the 12 feudal lords.
